Terms and Conditions for Yogdrishyam

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the services offered by Yogdrishyam. These Terms govern your access to and use of our website, services, and yoga teacher training courses.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry form, registering for a course, or making a payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Services Offered

Yogdrishyam provides certified yoga teacher training courses and related yoga classes at our facility in Goa, India. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services, including course schedules, curriculum, and faculty, at any time without prior notice.

3. Enrollment and Eligibility

  • Registration: Enrollment is complete only upon receipt of the completed registration form and the non-refundable booking deposit.

  • Eligibility: Students must be at least 18 years of age. For teacher training courses, students must have a genuine interest in yoga and a basic level of physical health. We recommend consulting with a healthcare provider before starting any intensive physical program.

  • Visa (International Students): International students are solely responsible for obtaining the appropriate visa (e.g., Yoga Visa, Tourist Visa) to travel to and study in India. Yogdrishyam may provide a letter of invitation upon request after full payment is received, but we are not responsible for visa approvals or denials.

4. Payment Terms

  • Fees: The total course fee, payment schedule, and due dates will be communicated during enrollment.

  • Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer, or other methods as specified by Yogdrishyam.

  • Late Payments: A late fee may be applied to overdue payments. Failure to complete payment by the specified deadline may result in the loss of your spot in the course, with the applicable refund policy applied.

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy

All payments are subject to our Refund Policy. By making a payment, you agree to the terms outlined therein. Please refer to the separate Refund Policy page for detailed information.

6. Student Conduct and Responsibilities

  • Code of Conduct: Students are expected to maintain a high standard of personal and professional conduct. This includes showing respect to teachers, staff, and fellow students.

  • Participation: Students are expected to attend all classes and sessions punctually and participate fully in the training.

  • Health & Safety: Students must inform instructors of any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations before the start of the course. Students practice all physical postures (asanas) at their own risk.

  • Dismissal: Yogdrishyam reserves the right to dismiss any student whose behavior is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or violates the code of conduct, without any entitlement to a refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials provided during the course, including but not limited to manuals, handouts, presentations, and sequences, are the intellectual property of Yogdrishyam. Students are granted a license to use these materials for their personal and teaching development but are prohibited from reproducing, distributing, or selling them for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

8. Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk

  • Physical Activity: You acknowledge that yoga involves physical movement and may be strenuous. You agree that you are voluntarily participating in these activities and assume all risk of injury, illness, or damage to yourself or your personal property.

  • Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Yogdrishyam, its owners, employees, and instructors from any and all liability for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages arising out of or connected with your participation in the course.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Force Majeure

Yogdrishyam shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, government regulations, pandemics, natural disasters, or curfews.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pernem, Goa.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will indicate the latest revision. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
