Refund Policy for Yogdrishyam Yoga Teacher Training, Goa

At Yogdrishyam, we are committed to providing a transformative and high-quality yoga teacher training experience. We understand that circumstances can change, and this policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds for our courses. Please read this policy carefully before enrolling.

1. General Policy

All deposits and tuition fees are non-transferable. Yogdrishyam is not responsible for any personal expenses such as airline tickets, travel visas, loss of work, or other costs incurred by the student in the event of a cancellation.

2. Booking Deposit

A non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your spot in any of our teacher training courses. This deposit is not refundable under any circumstances and is separate from the tuition fee.

3. Refund Schedule

The following refund schedule applies to the remaining tuition fee (total fee minus the non-refundable deposit), based on the date we receive a written cancellation notice via email at Yogdrishyam0@gmail.com.

For Cancellations Made by the Student:

• More than 60 days before the course start date:

  • 100% of the remaining tuition fee is refunded.

• Between 30 and 60 days before the course start date:

  • 50% of the remaining tuition fee is refunded.

• Less than 30 days before the course start date:

  • No refund of the tuition fee will be issued.

Example: If you paid a total of ₹80,000 with a ₹10,000 deposit, the remaining tuition is ₹70,000. A cancellation 45 days before the start date would result in a 50% refund of ₹70,000, which is ₹35,000. The ₹10,000 deposit is forfeited.

4. Special Considerations for International Students

We understand that international students face additional challenges. In addition to the policy above:

• Visa Denial: If your Indian visa application is denied, we will refund the full tuition fee (excluding the non-refundable deposit) upon receiving a copy of the official visa denial letter from the embassy/consulate.

• Currency & Transfer Fees: All refunds will be issued in Indian Rupees (INR) or the original currency of payment. Any bank transfer fees, currency conversion losses, or transaction charges will be borne by the student.

5. Dismissal or Voluntary Early Departure

No refund will be given for a student who is dismissed from the program due to a violation of the school’s code of conduct or who voluntarily leaves the program after it has commenced.

6. Course Cancellation by Yogdrishyam

In the unlikely event that Yogdrishyam must cancel a course, students will be notified immediately and offered the following options:

1. Full Refund: A 100% refund of all amounts paid, including the deposit.

2. Transfer: Transfer your payment to a future scheduled course within one year.

Yogdrishyam is not liable for any additional costs incurred beyond the course tuition.

7. How to Request a Refund

All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to Yogdrishyam0@gmail.com. The date of the email will be used as the official cancellation date for processing the refund. Please allow up to 30 business days for the refund to be processed.
