300-hour Yoga Teacher Training is designed to help you deepen your personal practice, expand your teaching skills and provide a nourishing and supportive community to grow and explore your personal and professional capacities.

300-HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING IN INDIA

This program is a 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training that will certify students as 500-hour Tula Institute-trained advanced Yoga Teachers in attainable and sustainable yoga practices and qualify them for their Yoga Alliance RYT500. This training is perfect for teachers wishing to advance their teaching and students wanting to continue the journey to deepen their understanding of yoga. Applicants must have completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and received their 200-hour certification before starting this program.

The Yog Drishyam, advanced yoga teacher training, focuses on attainable and sustainable yoga practices to support teachers and students in incorporating viable yoga practices across their personal and professional lives. Students will become fluent in understanding the body and mind and using the eight limbs of yoga to experience and offer balance and ease. The curriculum follows the teachings of the section on practices of Patanjali’s Sutras.

This training allows you to integrate the teachings into your personal and professional lives. Understanding safe and practical alignment and sequencing is an inherent part of any YTT and will be progressively integrated throughout each training weekend.

Self-Care: Sustainable yogic self-care techniques for teachers and students and intelligent and safe sequencing.

Honouring the Student: Effective and affirming caring, safe and appropriate assists, modifications to meet the unique physical body, honouring boundaries, and trauma sensitivity.

Anatomy & Physiology: The musculoskeletal system, the nervous system, the respiratory system, the subtle energy body.

Quiet Side Practices: Restorative yoga, yoga Nidra, introduction to sen yoga.

Ayurveda: History & Philosophy, Anatomy & Physiology for Ayurveda and more.

✔ Asana across the Spectrum: Human growth and development, the evolution of yoga practices over the lifespan.

CURRICULUM

A 300-hour yoga teacher training syllabus typically builds upon the foundational knowledge and skills acquired in a 200-hour program, offering a deeper exploration into advanced yoga philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodologies.

THEORETICAL SESSIONS

  • History, definition and types of Yoga.
  • Philosophical understanding of Hatha & Raja Yoga.
  • A detailed study of the eight limbs of Yoga was conducted per the Patanjali Yoga Sutra.
  • Human Anatomy and Physiology (detailed understanding of yogic practices on different body systems from both the therapeutic aspects – Prevention and Cure).
  • Asanas and Pranayama – why and how.
  • Meditation – tradition, types, obstacles & methods to deepen meditation.
  • Yogic Anatomy of Kundalini, Prana, Chakras, Nadis, Koshas, Vuaus, Gunas.

ADVANCED PRACTICAL SESSIONS

  • Introduction and practice of yogic cleansing methods for internal purification.
  • Introduction of Vinyasa style of Yoga.
  • Classifications of Yoga postures with Sanskrit interpretation & therapeutic benefits of yoga postures.
  • Postural alignment & therapeutic role in prevention and cure.
  • Breathing patterns (Methods to enhance breathing habits for improved health)
  • The practice of Yoga Nidra for deep relaxation.
  • Pranayama (Calming nature with its therapeutic property).

Guidelines & Etiquettes for 300 Hours Yoga TTC

At Yog Drishyam, we strive to maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere, so we expect respectful behaviour on the premises at all times. Refrain from disrespecting the guidelines and etiquette below to avoid termination of your Yoga Teacher Training course without any reimbursement of the course fee.

 

Be on time for all theory and practical classes and stay for every class. We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before your class, which allows you sufficient time for any necessary preparation. Without prior approval, any type of audio, video recording, or photography is not permitted.

Eating and drinking (except water) are not allowed inside the yoga studio. Remove your footwear before entering the yoga studio. Do not bring your belongings (Jewelry, wristwatches, extra clothing, books, wallet, money, etc.) inside the yoga studio. We take no responsibility for any loss or theft of your personal belongings.

Be sure to attend scheduled classes. Please inform your teacher or manager if you are not feeling well. Attending all scheduled activities/ceremonies organized by Yog Drishyam is essential.

Smoking, any drugs and alcoholic beverages are not allowed inside the premises.

Please inform us in advance if you have visiting friends or relatives during your course. Outside visitors are not allowed to stay overnight. They are permitted to meet you only during daytime hours.

500-Hour Advanced Studies

Our Advanced Studies program allows you to complete your Yoga Alliance 500-hour (RYT-500) teacher designation by customizing a course of study that aligns with your passions. This program allows you to become a uniquely skilled teacher who stands out in the marketplace.

CORE COURSES

Half of the 500 hours in the program will come from our core courses. You must complete the 200-hour core course we offer to complete your Advanced Studies. 200-hour and 300-hour courses are offered every month. Choose Adaptive Yoga, Advanced Asana, Anatomy & Sequencing for Injury Prevention, The Art of Teaching, and Pranayama & Meditation.

ADVANCED ELECTIVES

In addition to your 200-hour course, you will choose the remaining 300 hours of your training from a broad selection of electives courses. Every year, we offer speciality programs featuring content exclusive to Yoga Yoga, such as our Yoga Alliance-recognized Prenatal Yoga and Children’s Yoga Teacher Training, as well as our unique program The Practice of Food & Yoga: Foundations of Ayurveda, an educational partnership with The Natural Epicurean Academy of Culinary Arts. We also offer 500-hour credit programs from nationally-recognized teachers and leaders in yoga, anatomy, relaxation, Yoga philosophy, Ayurveda, and Jyotish (Vedic astrology), which vary from year to year.

YOGA THERAPY TRAINING

Completion of the 300-hour Module 1 of our Yoga Therapy Training program satisfies the requirements to obtain your Yoga Alliance 500-hour (RYT-500) teacher designation.
